CBD is No Longer a Prohibited Substance, says WADA

The World Anti-Doping Agency has officially removed CBD (Cannabidiol) from its 2018 prohibited substances list. That is good news for UFC star Nate Diaz who has publicly praised CBD’s effects. “It helps with the healing process and inflammation, stuff like that. So you want to get these for before and after the fights, training. It’ll make your life a better place.”

Other athletes such as NFL’s Eugene Monroe of the Baltimore Ravens offered similar statements on the benefits of CBD. “This pain is never going away. My body is damaged,” Monroe, 30, said. “I have to manage it somehow. Managing it with pills was slowly killing me. Now I’m able to function and be extremely efficient by figuring out how to use different formulations of cannabis.”

OXZGEN, CBD, and Your Skin

rominent publications are already talking about it’s powerful effects.

The LA times says, “Many new [skincare] products include hemp seed oil, which has been used in folk remedies for centuries and is said to ease dry skin, reduce inflammation and alleviate skin issues such as eczema.

A small number of beauty products on the market include CBD (cannabidiol), a non-psychoactive compound in cannabis that is believed to have a variety of medical uses (easing pain and anxiety and soothing irritated skin, among other things) and does not cause a marijuana high.”

Our exclusive combination of these two ingredients makes OXZGEN Rescue Moisturizing Cream extra powerful. Even Elle Magazine wrote about how effective these ingredients are.

“Applied to the skin, it can diminish localized pain—indeed, the first CBD products to hit the market were designed primarily to target sore muscles and arthritis. Now [it] is turning up in everything from face serums to lip balms, and with mounting studies substantiating its efficacy and versatility, what we’re currently seeing may be just the beginning.

“Because the skin has its own endocannabinoid system, just the superficial application of HDC by itself is extremely helpful,” says Raj Gupta, chief scientific officer of Colorado Springs–based Folium Biosciences. “CBD is an antioxidant, so you can see changes in skin pattern, such as a reduction in hyperpigmentation.”

Fact or Myth? 5 Things You Should Know about OXZGEN & CBD

#1: CBD is illegal in the US: MYTH

In 2014, legislation came out (section 7606 of the Farm Bill) recognizing the differences between hemp and marijuana, thus making CBD (cannabidiol) legal to buy in all 50 states. All of our OXZGEN products contain ingredients derived from hemp, making them perfectly legal to buy and sell here in the US.

#2 CBD is being used for more than pain-relief & skin rejuvenation: FACT

Due to the powerful and long-lasting effects of CBD, it is being used to treat other serious diseases such as epilepsy. Many people are using hemp seed oil and CBD (both found in our OXZGEN products) to keep themselves free of seizures. This family in Illinois is just one of many who have found success with Cannabidiol.

Also, the ingredients in our products have been proven to support our internal Endocannabiniod System, which helps the overall balance of our immune system, digestion, sleep, cognitive functionality and our nervous system. The reason that CBD has such impactful effects on us, is that we are already biologically primed to use them.

#3 CBD and Marijuana are the same thing: MYTH

Although this is a common misconception, here’s the truth about the differences. Yes, hemp and marijuana are derived from the same species of plant, called Cannabis sativa L. HOWEVER, the difference found in traits of these two called for separation.” With hemp, you are growing it for it’s seeds and fiber, and marijuana you’re growing for it’s buds. Rest assured that you are consuming or applying Cannabidiol with our OXZGEN products, not marijuana.

#4 Hemp and CBD will get you high: MYTH

The element of marijuana that gives psychoactive effects is known as THC.  Our OXZGEN products are THC-free, so you can be sure you will not experience any psychoactive reactions while taking them. Some users have reported that they feel more relaxed after taking OXZGEN, and we’ve found that the pain-relief elements that CBD provides lowers anxiousness and stress.

According to Forbes, “The important difference to note is that industrial hemp contains only less than 0.3% of Tetrahydrocannabinoids or THC (the ingredients that make a person high), while marijuana’s THC content can be 5-10% or more.”

Elle Magazine’s research shows the same. “CBD has no psychoactive properties and, unlike THC, can be sold in all 50 states as long as it’s derived specifically from industrial hemp. “

#5 Our OXZGEN products are organic & made in the US: FACT

We are proud to say that all of OXZGEN’s HDC is sustainably grown in the US by family farmers and subject to safety and quality testing, with seed to shelf controlled quality for best results. We stand behind our products, and know that you will love them as much as we do.
